Important Do’s ……

• Make sure you understand the terms and conditions of your tenancy agreement
• Make sure you have checked your inventory and schedule of condition
• Advise the relevant utility companies of your intended move
• Advise Royal Mail, your bank and employers of your move
• Ensure that your rent reaches the Landlord or Accord by the due date
• Advise your Landlord or Accord immediately if any maintenance problems arise
• Give up all keys that are in your possession at the end of the tenancy
• Always ask if you are in doubt

• Alter the terms and conditions of your tenancy agreement
• Move out or leave the property vacant for long periods without advising Accord or your Landlord
• Use your deposit as your last month’s rent
• Take in paying guests or sublet the property
• Redecorate or carry out maintenance, repairs or renewals without contacting Accord or your Landlord
• Refuse reasonable access to your Landlord, Accord or appointed tradesmen
